Roofing warranty information

Good warranty coverage depends on the work, the materials, and the scope. Here's how we think about it, with exact terms always confirmed in writing before your project.

Two layers of protection

A roofing warranty really has two parts: our workmanship, and the manufacturer coverage on the materials themselves. We stand behind our installation, and we install to manufacturer specifications so those material warranties stay valid. The exact length and terms depend on the roof and the products used, so we put them in writing in your estimate and contract, where they belong.

What warranty can cover
  • Roof replacements and re-roofs
  • Qualifying roof repairs
  • Manufacturer-covered roofing materials
  • Coating & waterproofing systems, per product terms
What is typically excluded
  • Pre-existing damage unrelated to our work
  • Damage from deferred maintenance
  • Work performed by others
  • Normal wear and weathering
Workmanship
  • We stand behind our installation quality
  • Terms put in writing before work begins
  • Documented with photos at completion
Manufacturer
  • Installed to manufacturer spec
  • Material warranties kept valid
  • Registered where applicable

The matrix above is a general guide. Your written contract is always the definitive statement of what is covered on your specific project.

Do you offer a workmanship warranty?
Warranty terms depend on the type of work and materials, and we confirm the exact coverage in writing before a project begins.
What about manufacturer warranties?
Many roofing materials carry manufacturer warranties. We install to spec so those warranties stay valid, and we register them where applicable.
What might not be covered?
Typically pre-existing damage unrelated to our work, damage from lack of maintenance, work performed by others, and normal wear. Your written warranty spells this out.
