• Fabricate seamless aluminum runs on-site from coil stock so there are no mid-run joints to leak
• Set the correct slope toward downspouts, typically a subtle fall you'll never notice but water will find
• Mount with hidden hangers screwed into the fascia framing at proper spacing for our wind and rain loads
• Position and route downspouts so discharge lands well away from the foundation
• Seal end caps, miters, and outlets with a marine-appropriate sealant rated for coastal conditions
• Test the full system with a hose and confirm every run drains clean before we leave

Roof types & materials

• Seamless aluminum (K-style): the coastal workhorse, corrosion-resistant, painted finish, formed on-site
• Coated/painted steel: heavier duty for high-debris inland lots, only with a protective finish
• Half-round profile: a cleaner look for older or architectural homes, pairs well with round downspouts
• 5-inch and 6-inch K-style: the larger 6-inch handles steeper roofs and higher runoff volume
• Copper: premium, long-lived, and it patinas gracefully in the marine air for the right home
• Oversized 3x4 downspouts: move more water faster during intense winter cells
